PENN STATE COMMUNITY HEROS DAY AT BEAVER STADIUM
Updated On: Jun 16, 2017

PENN STATE COMMINITY HEROS DAY AT BEAVER STADIUM

Saturday, September 16th will be the 5th Annual Community Heroes Day with Penn State Football as the Nittany Lions take on the Georgia State Panthers.

Special ticket packages are now available for active and retired firefighters, police officers, and EMS personnel! A portion of each ticket will be donated to help offset in line of duty deaths throughout Pennsylvania. Over the past two years, more than $3,000 has been raised for the cause.

New to this year, first responders will be able to nominate one of their peers to be an honorary participant in the opening coin toss. Penn State Athletics will select one deserving firefighter, one police officer, and one EMS worker to be on the field with Penn State’s captains during the toss. To nominate your peer, please visit www.gopsusports.com/communityheroes.

In addition to the coin toss, those who order prior to June 30th will be eligible to be selected at random for the pregame flag hold on the field.

All police officers and their guests can order tickets via www.pafop.org or click on the attachment, fill out the form and mail it to the State Lodge FOP.

Parking information will be available at a later date. To order via phone or for more information on Community Heroes Day, please contact Dave Bittner with Penn State Athletics at 814-863- 1109 or DZB91@psu.edu
