William Boyd William R. Boyd, Sr, 91, on July 28. World War II veteran, retired Springfield Township police officer, member of the FOP, avid gardener and highly skilled woodworker. Preceded in death by his wife Edna M. Boyd. Survived by Daughter, Karen Allen of Poolsville, MD, son, William R. Boyd, Jr and his wife, Joanne Boyd of Gilbertsville, PA, four grandchildren and three great grand children. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association .
