S. Philomenia Billger

 

S. Philomenia (Taddei) Billger of Spring Hill, FL and formerly of Neshaminy Falls, North Wales, died May 21, 2010 in Florida at the age of 80. She was the wife of the late George A. Billger, Sr.

Born in Abington, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Mary Porch Taddei.

She was a crossing guard for Lower Moreland Township for many years.

She was a member and one of the founding member of the Montgomery County FOP Lodge No. 14 for over 50 years. She was also a past president of Montgomery County FOP and of the State FOP for many years.

She was the devoted mother of Linda M. Andrews and husband, Arthur III, of Spring Hill, FL and George A. Billger, Jr. and wife, Mary, of Philadelphia. Grandmother of Dawn, Diana, Artie IV, John and Paul.
Great-grandmother of Felicia, Brittany, Kelly, Artie V and Liberty. Also survived by four sisters, two brothers and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing Thursday from 7 to 9PM at the Joseph J. McGoldrick Funeral Home, 507 West Ave., Jenkintown and Friday from 11 to 11:45AM at Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Church, 1325 Upper State Rd., North Wales, followed by the Funeral Mass at 12 Noon.
Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to George A. Billger, Jr. due to a fire that destroyed his home.
