					 O'SHEA, 
					William Leo 80, of New Port Richey died Dec. 16, 2008. Born 
					in Cortland, NY, he moved to Florida in 1982, from Hatboro, 
					PA, where he was police officer for 23 years, retiring with 
					the rank of Chief of Police, which he had held for 8 years. 
					He retired from the military, having served active duty in 
					the US Marine Corps for 14 years and was a veteran of WW II 
					and the Korean War. He served in the Marine Corps Reserve 
					and the Army Reserve for a total of 25 years military duty. 
					He was a charter member and past commandant of the Bux-Mont 
					PA Detachment of the Marine Corps League. He was a member of 
					the WK Bray Lodge No. 410, F&M, Hatboro, PA; lehigh 
					Consistory Scottish Rite, Allentown, PA; Fraternal Order of 
					Police Lodge 14, Montgomery County, PA; American Legion Post 
					0155 Whippany, NJ; Alumni of the Treasury Department 
					Narcotic Enforcement Officers School; a founding member of 
					the Pennsy 4 Police Pistol Club. He was a past member of the 
					Police Chiefs Association of Southeastern PA; Montgomery 
					County Police Chiefs Assoc.; National Assoc. of Police 
					Chiefs; International Narcotic Enforcement Officers Assoc. 
					and the Egypt Temple Shrine, Tampa. He is survived by wife, 
					Elizabeth; daughter Cathryn Geisheimer; granddaughter Nicole 
					Geisheimer; sisters Mary and Betty. Funeral arrangements are 
					private.  |
