John H. Kaelin
76 Years of age
Beloved husband of Jeanne (Wampole) Kaelin married for 55 years. Born in Lansdale, he was the son of the late John B. and Maria Magdelina(Hemberger) Kaelin. He was a veteran of the Korean War obtaining the rank of corporal. He was a corporal with the Lower Gwynedd Township Police department for 38 years. After retiring from the police department, He then worked an additional 12 years for Lower Gwynedd Twp building department.
Member and past president of the Fraternal Order Of Police Montgomery Co. lodge #14. He was an Active and life member of the North Penn Vol. Fire Co for 53 years. Also served the Volunteer Medical Service Corps in Lansdale. Member and past president of the Lower Gwynedd Loins club and recipient Melvin Jones fellowship award. Surviving in addition to his wife are five sons, Robert from Gwynedd, John, Thomas and wife Nancy of Souderton, Michael, and William and his wife Rebecca of North Wales; seven grandchildren, one great grandson. He was preceded in death by sisters, Catherine, Margaret, Emma, and brothers, Joseph, Henry and Charles. A memorial service will be held March 15 11:00am at The Church of The Messiah DeKalb Pk Gwynedd Pa.
